The Dorset Players Proudly Present:
Tom Martins
Board of Trustees
Tom earned his BFA in Acting from Marymount Manhattan College and promptly launched himself into two of New York City's most demanding and theatrical professions: acting and bartending. He split his time between stages and restaurants throughout NYC, L.A and San Francisco for 25 years. When he was done with city life––or it was done with him––Tom made the move to nearby Arlington where his parents had been running a B&B motel since his college days. He hasn’t regretted that decision for a moment.
After a decade away from the stage, Tom returned to acting when he was cast in the Dorset Players' production of Kindly Leave the Stage in 2021. Since then, he has performed in multiple productions at the Playhouse and found not just a community theater, but a creative home. Tom is honored to serve on the Board of Trustees and is excited to help steward this remarkable organization into its next century—ensuring that future generations can continue to laugh, reflect, connect, and experience the magic that only live theater can create.
