The Dorset Players offer a rich mix of community programs that bring people together to learn, create, and explore the performing arts. From staged readings and improv workshops to reader circles and adult dance classes, these offerings welcome participants of all experience levels. Each season features new opportunities to engage with theatre, build skills, and connect with fellow community members.

Circle of Readers
Read and discuss great plays with great people! Typically meets monthly on the second Tuesday.
Improv Workshop
Join Improv Master Todd Hjelt for seven weeks of unscripted creativity and fun. Meets weekly on Thursdays!
Adult Dance Classes
Renée Wymer leads Jazz and Barre classes for members of all levels. Meets Saturday mornings.
Script Analysis
Led by Luke Krueger and inspired by Backwards and Forwards, this class explores how action drives story.
