Jon Mathewson

Jon’s first role with the Dorset Players was as the Judge in Witness For The Prosecution in 2018. Since then, he has been cast and filled various off-stage roles in other productions.
His career as a museum curator concerned with long-term conservation in no way prepared him for the fast paced, temporary nature of live theater.
He finds it is a wonderful learning process, and as a member of the Board of Trustees, he feels privileged to be part of ensuring that the Players enter their second century on firm footing.
